Addendum Checklist

Check the portal or buyer page for new addenda on a regular schedule

Confirm we are registered as a plan holder or follower so we get notices

Compare the addendum numbers we have against the latest number posted

Save each addendum with its number and date in the bid folder

Ask the buyer to confirm the total number of addenda if it is unclear

Note any change to the due date, time or delivery location

Note any change to quantities, specifications or drawings

Note any new or replaced forms

Read the questions and answers included in the addendum

Note any change to bond, insurance or other requirements

Note any extension of the questions deadline

Update the price for any changed quantities or scope

Swap in any replaced forms and fill them in

Update the schedule and task owners for any new dates

Tell suppliers and subcontractors about changes that affect their quotes

Update the compliance matrix for any new requirements

Recheck page counts and file rules after the edits

Find out how the buyer wants addenda acknowledged

Sign and include each acknowledgment form, or list each addendum on the bid form

Complete any acknowledgment step required in the portal

Keep a copy of every signed acknowledgment

Check the portal one last time for a new addendum

Confirm every addendum number appears in the acknowledgment

Confirm the package reflects the latest version of every change

Confirm the due date in our plan matches the latest addendum
